Cosmos Plant can grow up to a height of 3 feet if not pruned and starts flowering after 45 days of sowing, depending on the growing conditions. It continues to flower for the next month. This variety gives yellow multi-petal flowers which is less commonly seen in and around gardens. These plants thrive in full sun and can attract bees to the garden. Cosmos plants are easy to maintain and require very little care. It is important to water them regularly, considering the soil conditions.

   To sow the seeds, prepare a rich organic mixture by combining compost, garden soil, sand, and coco-peat in a 1:1:1:2 ratio (ignore coco-peat if not available). Water the soil until it drains from the bottom. Allow the soil to sit for 5 minutes to ensure that any excess water is drained before sowing the seeds. Cover the seeds with the same mixture, doubling the size of the seed.

    Once the seedlings reach to a height of 10-13 cm, transplant them to their final pots or location in the evening. Water them well for the first time to help them establish. From the next day onwards, water regularly based on the soil and climate conditions. Avoid overwatering but ensure that the soil remains moist without becoming waterlogged.
